Clive Skilton, Managing Partner of the Jeepspeed Association, announced today that the 2008 Jeepspeed Challenge and 2008 Jeepspeed Cup will have new Presenting Sponsorship from ATK Engines and GearHeadJeep.com
ATK North America is the largest private label Engine Remanufacturer in the United States. Partnered with their sister company, VEGE de Mexico, ATK VEGE has a history of Remanufacturing that dates back to 1936. ATK VEGE specializes in building Jeep engines, as the WWII military Jeep was the first engine that the company began remanufacturing back in the late 1930s.

These engines have been custom built to perform in the desert, and have all been pre-qualified to race. In addition, GearheadJeep.com will supply other Jeep parts, accessories and Gearhead/Jeepspeed apparel. We will attend Jeepspeed races and other off road events to promote Jeepspeed, Gearhead and ATK. Rubicon Express Jeepspeed Challenge presented by ATK Engines is for any 6 cylinder Jeep with limited modifications.
Currie Enterprises Jeepspeed Cup presented by ATK Engines is for any Jeep with any Jeep/Mopar/Chrysler/AMC engine. This is a new class for Jeepspeed competitors that want to go faster. V8 engines will be allowed in 6 cylinder Jeep models.
